Founded a privately funded foundation to provide financial support to abused, abandoned and neglected children, I have organized events, recruited volunteers, and raised more than $150,000.00. I am the 2003 Jefferson Award recipient, and received a Service to Mankind Award in 2004 for community service activities.
Assisted in the formation of a private agency addressing the issues of child abuse prevention, that provides families of newborn babies with education and skills to break the cycle of abuse.
My professional associations include serving on the board and various committees of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, and the National Association of Women Business Owners, Associated General Contractors, and Women and Networking. I am also a member of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada.
